Senoz Ekovadi: how we shipped a public-tourism portal in 8 weeks

A study in serving three very different audiences — citizens, local businesses and the public agency — from one interface.

Brief

Built in partnership with the Çayeli District Governorship and DOKA, Senoz Ekovadi had to serve three audiences: visitors (maps, routes and content), local businesses (promotion and announcements) and the institution (content management and reporting).

One backbone, three platforms

The iOS and Android apps, the website and the admin panel share one backend. Content is entered once in the panel and updates everywhere at the same time; maps, routes and photos are optimized to load fast even on mobile networks.

Security by design

As an institutional project, authorization, record keeping and backups were part of the architecture from day one. We deliberately keep technical details such as versions and internal structure out of public view: the first step in shrinking an attack surface is not over-describing the system.

Outcome

64% faster load, 38K sessions in month one. Most importantly: internal reporting cycle dropped from days to minutes.
